General Colin Powell Visits PR major students at City College

The PR Writing class this semester had the pleasure and the honor to receive the General Colin Powell at our institution - City College. We did not expect him to come to class so seeing him there was a big surprise. He was accompanied with the Colin Powell Center at City college, photographers and other executive board members. The PR Writing class along with Professor Lynn Scott Jackson explained to him our projects and partnership with the Colin Powell Center and West Harlem Group Assistance (WHGA). Our goal is to create a positive image for WHGA and create awareness about this non-profit organization.

He then gave us insights on how to approach this project that will sure benefit the community, WHGA and the entire class.
